Remember the analog days? Between real life and photo albums, there was a lot of waiting to get your film developed. But as the OC-ism goes, good things come to those who are impatient. (The Spring-exclusive tees, for instance.) As for the rest of us, a little window shopping is never unwelcome.
And by windows, we mean the frames of a contact sheet, where negatives are lined up and reviewed. This crucial process is part of the bygone era of DIY dark room developing. Along with other things we love—Kodak, Spike Jonze’s doodles, skater belts—we revived the concept with lurex fern green and burnt orange hues, all streaked with a silver nitrate wash reminiscent of color chemicals.
