Keepin' Up in Key West: Opening Ceremony SS13

Motels, margaritas, and matching denim. For all these reasons and more, Florida is Opening Ceremony's destination of choice for Spring/Summer 2013. To be specific, we headed to Key West—(literally) the most far out all the Florida keys. The collection references the island's unique architecture, pastel colors, and never-ending swimming pools. Eyelets and scalloped edges echo the "gingerbread" molding of the key's Victorian houses and awnings. Polka-dot knit skirts and striped faille shorts-and-jacket combos come in sherbet shades. And gingham pieces have wavy seams inspired by pool reflections. The collection's other defining motif is a rose patch. Look out for it on collars, sweaters, and one perfect pink denim jacket (complete with built-in backpack straps).
