Anna Laub's SS13 Prism collection pulled its inspiration from 70s France—think Brigitte Bardot, Guy Bourdin, and Serge Gainsbourg all lounging by a piscine. Luckily, the weather cleared just in time for this pool party presentation on top of The Standard Hotel. Models relaxed on chaises and chatted with each other, soaking up the sun as martinis and frozen lemonades were passed around. The color story of the collection read like a 70s surfer film: high-waisted bikinis and one-pieces came in sorbet orange, soft grey, white, and marine blue. The sunglasses ranged from an updated mirrored cat-eye in hot pink to tortoiseshell square frames in a nude and grey combination. All of the frames complimented the teased hair and wide headbands sported by the ladies, and the terry towel bands sported by the boys. It was a little slice of the French riviera in the middle of the Meatpacking.
