Free Pussy Riot: Public Reading at Ace Hotel, NY

Last night, Chloë Sevigny, Eileen Myles, Karen Finley, Johanna Fateman, MX Justin Vivian Bond, and K8 Hardy gathered for a public reading at Ace Hotel in support of feminist punk band Pussy Riot. After listening to courtroom statements from the band's members (Maria Alekhina, Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, and Ekaterina Samucevich), the crowd heard their prison letters along with courtroom observations from attendees. Organized by JD Samson, the reading is another example of the support Pussy Riot has received since incarceration.
