During our visit, professional skateboarder and musician Chad Muska walked Christelle and I through his art-filled home and shared studio, introduced us to his scene-stealing pug, Flip, and invited us to his next party. Daria Radlinski: What was your first job?

Chad Muska: Pouring prefabricated cement boxes in the desert in Las Vegas. It sucked.

DR: What do you never leave home without?
CM: My ideology

DR: What object in your apartment have you had for the longest time?
CM: I have been traveling my whole life so I never really had a chance to hold on to too many things. I lose them or they leave me.

DR: Fill in the blanks: 
CM: I like my   fun   but I love my   work  .

DR: Do you have a lucky charm?
CM: Yes, this charm from New Zealand that Lee Ralph gave me. For some reason, I always travel with it.

DR: What song will you always love? 
CM: "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston.

DR: If you were going to be in a band who would you want to be your band mates?
CM: Karl Lagerfeld, Kate Moss, Iggy Pop, and Courtney Love.

DR: Best piece of advice you've ever received?
CM: Advice is easier to give then to live by.

DR: What is your virtue?
CM: I am honest and have a big heart. I think that's how to describe a virtue? Haha!

DR: What is your vice?
CM: I like to party

DR: Any summer plans?
CM: Party, work, party, work, party, work, and search for love.
