Bruce LaBruce's Bloodbath at The Hole

Yesterday, the infamous writer, photographer, and gay porn film director Bruce LaBruce presented a blood-soaked, one-night-only performance at The Hole. Bruce's imagery is always like a haunting nightmare; there is no sense of space or time, but only a setting for ultra-violent energy to be unleashed. Last night's show was no different. But while it was gory and shocking, it was also just as fun at times––the actors occasionally stifled laughter because they kept slipping and squelching in the gallons of fake blood.
