A Weekend Getaway with Family Affairs

"Les Vacances," Family Affairs' spring collection is like a perfect holiday wardrobe. Flowy cotton dresses and charming printed blouses are just what we would pack for a weekend of sitting on shady porches and lounging on lawns. So when designer Nina Egli told us that she was heading out to Long Island this past weekend, we asked her to make us a "Les Vacances" diary.

Over the weekend I went out to the North Fork to visit my fairy godmother, Garance. She's an amazing artist, and has the most inspiring house and garden. It's one of my favorite places to be and, as the weather was so amazing, it was a perfect opportunity to take our "Les Vacances" collection for a test drive. We're a great thrift team and we hit the surrounding yard sales and our favorite thrift shops on Saturday!
