The OC Women's Fall/Winter 2012 Lookbook

Familiar face, brand spanking new collection! Yes, you may remember the effervescent Hyoni Kang from our SS12 lookbook—we just couldn't resist asking her back for our Fall/Winter 2012 lookbook, shot by Todd Jordan. But enough about the adorable Miss Kang, let's talk about the collection.

Influenced by the glory of Patagonia, native Argentinean fauna, and the outdoor pursuits of gauchos in the grasslands, the collection is big, bright, and bold in its use of color and texture. Sporty and military-style details balance out the playful, feminine shapes. With this collection, we welcome three new custom prints inspired by Argentina's landscape and rich culture: majestic glaciers, watercolor-inspired camouflage, and a revamped fileteado (a type of artistic illustration from Buenos Aires that often depicts stylized flowers and vines). The flocked lace sweaters, double quilted ski jackets, sateen trousers, floor-grazing babydoll coat in mohair, beaded ballet flats, and the reappearance of the Grunge sneaker (in crushed velvet!) are just some of our favorites. Swoon on!
