Each season, KTZ's daring collections pay tribute to indigenous cultures and celebrate diversity in the world of fashion. Designer Marjan Pejoski doesn’t tailor his designs to any specific group, but instead "promote[s] a style for all that is universal and free from any socio-political views,” he told The WILD Magazine earlier this year. Fittingly, this spring, KTZ travelled to the place where democracy was born: ancient Greece. Its Spring/Summer 2015 collection bursts with Neoclassical iconography, modernized with streetwear details we can picture on KTZ fans RiRi and Yeezy.
Embroidered Shorts look they were made for the Roman Army, delicately embroidered with Corinthian columns and cut into a loose, oversized shape. A basic tee is swathed with Olympics-inspired emblems and updated with a concealed zip-mesh hood. This sartorial soldier aesthetic continues with the Crocodile Puffed Tank, reminiscent of a Grecian chest-plate and textured to look like faux crocodile skin. The collection has an overall athletic feel, as evidenced by the Striped Shorts, which feature the brand's signature geometric patterns and a sporty elastic waistband. This collection screams "urban warrior," and we are totally at its surrender.
