Marques'Almeida Brings Us Back To The Future

The duo behind Marqes'Almeida have always had a knack for taking us on a much-needed fashion vacay back to the past. Whether it's back-in-time to the spaghetti-strap-ready days of the early '00s or the denim-heavy decade of the '90s, Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida have made it clear that they have the nostalgic fashion game on-lock. 

For Fall/Winter 2015, the pair take a break from the past and channel their Back to the Future moment, where we get a glimpse of our fashion future, as seen through the eyes of Marques'Almeida. Although frayed-denim still makes its celebrated appearance in the form of asymmetrical skirts and off-kilter moto-style jackets, new details (such as a cut-out sleeves on a fur coat) begin to take shape.

The duo also manage to introduce new fabrications into the mix, with gold foil-tinted handbags and jackets that are perfectly crinkled to the touch. Reflective silver tones are also present in exaggerated tanks and skirts that are most definitely Moon Man-approved. 

If the future of fashion looks anything like Marques'Almeida predicts, perhaps we're not so scared after all.
