NYFW Survival Cards: Bring Layers

It used to be, if you were getting drafted for the military or headed into the wilderness, you would leave with a stack of survival cards—all very necessary if you're weathering harsh, elemental conditions. By no means are we comparing New York Fashion Week to a longish camping expedition, but it can get pretty funky out there. To the rescue: Opening Ceremony's NYFW Survival Cards. f

How is it that just a few days ago, the city was under an armpit of heatwave, and tonight, the temperature is dropping to 65° F? This writer is currently typing away at her desk in, yes, layers. Epecially at the shows, when you're at the mercy of blasting AC one moment, beelining to your Uber the next, then groovin' at an afterparty, then in a chilly 2 AM line at Duane Reade with Advil and coconut water—having a good sweater or scarf or cardigan (or all three!) is of supreme necessity.

Here, our resident badass wears Opening Ceremony's Cube Hand Crewneck in cobalt blue, which—even under all those other layers—is bright enough to stand out in the crowd.
