"Keep calm and carry on" was originally created as a British propaganda slogan in the late '30s, to soothe worried souls during World War II. Since then, there have been dozens of spin-off phrases, like "Keep calm and call Batman," "Keep calm and hakuna matata," and "Keep calm and have fun."
To that point—it's Day #3 of NYFW, so let's remind ourselves to be chill. Whether you're a yogi (and we're not sure that's a legit pose in Jean Jullien's illustration above, some sort of inverted vrksasana?) or you follow the tao of beer on-tap... a calm elan will do you well.
This weekend, for anyone looking to take a breather from the stiletto brigade, our Opening Ceremony slip-ons are a good alternative. And with a 1.75" sole, no one will blame you for quick-changing outta those Bionda Castanas.
