J.W. Anderson Fall/Winter 2014: London Fashion Week

J.W. Anderson certainly has a niche. For Fall/Winter 2014 he continued his exploration of architectural and constricted designs crafted from structured and rigid fabrics. Anderson's experimentation with the female silhouette was back again too, this time in details of plunging necklines, thigh-high slits, and cropped tops which highlighted the curves of the models' bodies. All were uncharacteristically sexy for the designer––yet the collection concealed more than it revealed. Semi-claustrophobic funnel necks and restrictive bands over tailoring were key features. Colors were earthy and organic, which conjured thoughts of falling leaves.
