We first showed ADAM SELMAN's sultry designs when RIHANNA FOR RIVER ISLAND premiered in our stores, and we're pleased to introduce the designer's debut solo collection. After working with stylist Mel Ottenberg on Rihanna's stage designs, then designing the Rihanna for River Island collection along with Riri herself, it seems natural that his next move would be to found his own line. Drawing inspiration from 1970s Cosmopolitan covers shot by Francesco Scavullo, Adam created a lineup that is daring, muted, retro, and fresh all at once. Soft, slinky fabrics with high slits and perfectly cropped hems drape over your figure, revealing feminine curves. A sparse color palette of powder pink, navy, white, and black keep your wardrobe choices easy to make. To suit this stunningly simple collection, we present "Tooned Out," an airy editorial starring best friends and photographers in their own right Carlotta Kohl and PETRA COLLINS. Photographed by Brianna Capozzi and styled by the designer himself, the editorial captures the cool, creative spirit of this New York brand to watch.
