Boy Meets Girl: Band of Outsiders Resort 2014

In case you haven't been reading the fashion news as obsessively as we have, here's a fun fact: Band of Outsiders lines Boy and Girl have been combined to be simply Band of Outsiders women's. But what hasn't changed are designer Scott Sternberg's put-together tomboy and feminine free-spirit looks, which haven't gone anywhere, as far as we can tell from the new Resort collection. Flirty dresses and leather blazers? Yes please. Band's signature shapes, like that boxy button-down, the bohemian maxi dress, and the ladylike romper, in the requisite bright colors and floral prints? Check. Scott also worked with Israeli artist Guy Yanai to develop prints for the collection, like leaves of grass that float down the front of tailored trousers, and a bunny print on a loose cropped top. It's the best kind of fairy tale: Boy meets Girl, then we all fall in love, and live happily ever after in a perfect wardrobe!
