OC x LFW: KTZ SS14

If I told you that the biggest feature of KTZ's Spring/Summer 2014 show was florals, you wouldn't believe me, right? Well it's true. Pink and blue dresses, coats, bags, shoes, baseball caps—you name it—they were all covered in flowers. The prints were the biggest shock of the show, but they were contrasted with looks more typical of the brand. Black bomber jackets covered in silver hardware were paired with strong, outsize silver jewelry. And cut-out leather shirts and PVC skirts were also more recognizable as trademark KTZ looks. This season Koji Maruyama and Marjan Pejoski, the guys behind the brand, were inspired by the attire and traditions of nomadic cultures. Silhouettes were suitable for desert landscapes, sweeping winds, and rolling sand dunes, but updated to feel distinctly modern—and equally ready for the streets of London.
