In "My Neighborhood," OC friends and family share their top five favorite spots in their 'hood. First up is the talented photographer, Bibi Cornejo-Borthwick.
It was probably halfway through our stroll around Cobble Hill–-the neighborhood that Bibi Cornejo-Borthwick's lived in since the age of 9, with the exception of a stint in Manhattan's bustling Chiantown––that Bibi mentioned her age, and I experienced the same shock that I felt last year, when I found out that Rihanna was only 24 (24, YOU GUYS). The young, fresh-faced, 22-year-old photographer has already shot for L'Officiel Hommes, Dazed and Confused, Nowness, and T Magazine, and is also launching a non-profit, TU SISI, devoted to Swaziland's orphans. Hella cool. Find out her go-to spots in her charming Brooklyn neighborhood.

Café Pedlar - 210 Court St., Brooklyn, NY 11201 MAP
I love getting my coffee here in the morning, it's routine for me and my dad. The place is perfect––our friends who own Frank and Prime Meats in Brooklyn opened it. The coffee is yummy and it's nice seeing the same faces every day.
Nightingale 9 - 345 Smith St., Brooklyn, 11231 MAP
My good friend Kerry Diamond recently opened this amazing Vietnamese place with her boyfriend. The food is so fresh and flavorful (I have a weakness for Asian food), and there's nothing like it in New York.
El Nuevo Cibao - 172 Smith St., Brooklyn, 11210 map
This is my favorite food place, hands down. It's a local Dominican spot where you can get chicken, rice, beans, and flan––all for under 20 bucks.
Cubana Café - 272 Smith St., Brooklyn, New York 11231 MAP
Even though I don't really drink, Cubana Café is a fun place for a cocktail (though I opt for virgin ones, haha). The interior is amazing.
Cobble Hill Park - Brooklyn, 11201 MAP
This place is around the corner from my house. I love going here to sit and have my coffee in the morning with my puppy. It's also really quiet and peaceful at night. Sometimes I go sit with the dog and my best friend, and just decompress. I love this neighborhood because you really don't feel like you're in New York.
Look out for Bibi's Show & Tell episode on OCTV, coming soon!
