Last Thursday, Antony and the Johnsons, accompanied by a 60-piece orchestra, played a sold-out show at Radio City Music Hall. The performance, entitled "Swanlights", was commissioned by MoMA and brought together a diverse crowd of familiar faces from the fashion and art scene.

The combination of Antony's voice and the intricate set made the experience otherworldly. Dozens of prism-shaped sculptures, designed by Carl Robertshaw, cast a light show just above the audience. But it was the band's and the orchestra's performance that truly captured the audience, with heart-wrenching ballads such as "Cripple and the Starfish", "Christina's Farm", "For Today I am a Boy", and a bizarrely beautiful rendition of Beyoncé's "Crazy in Love".
