Describe your most memorable Father's Day with your dad. In Korea, we celebrate both parents on May 8. As a tradition, we pin carnations on our parents' chests. One year, I made handmade carnations for my parents.
What is your favorite item from your dad's wardrobe? My dad was very uninterested in fashion. If he had to spend money on clothes, he always bought the best quality pieces. My favorite item is his single-breasted gabardine coat from Burberry.
Favorite memory of your dad: My dad is pretty strict and doesn't outwardly express his feelings. What I most admire about him is his faith. He's a very faithful Christian and when he prays for us, it's heartfelt.
Favorite meal your dad cooks: His soy paste soup—it's considered soul food among Koreans. My father isn't the most talented chef but he always puts love and effort into his cooking.
What will you be gifting your dad this Father's Day? The Pendleton Outback Straw Hat, it's similar to the hat my dad wore to the beach when I was younger. I would also love to get him the Postalco Crossgrain Billfold Wallet—it would put me in a good mood if I saw him using this colorful wallet!
