Preppy 2.0: Introducing J. Press York Street

Since my first day as an English girl at an American summer camp, I have been obsessed by prep (read: preppy boys). Monograms! Polo shirts! Tennis-toned arms! How could you not love this cricket sweater (left) by prep's newest double threat, J. Press York Street? The collaborative line is in its first season but J. Press proper is true OG. The family-run menswear brand began on the grounds of Yale and has been dressing the Ivy League since 1902. J. Street York Street meanwhile is the brand's younger offshoot, a project co-designed by brothers Ariel and Shimon Ovadia of New York tailor Ovadia & Sons. In other words, the collaboration is a perfect meeting of prep old and new. Like the time you made out with your tennis counselor. Joking. Or am I? With slim cuts and classic detailing, the spring offering allows you to fly your pink-and-green flag as high (or low) as you like. There are bandana-print tees, polo shirts, chinos, and tanks with track-team stripes.
