Go Big (Cat) or Go Home: Kenzo Women's SS13

Seeing Solange in her custom Kenzo dress on the Met Ball red carpet was too much! As if we weren't already obsessed with the entire Kenzo korner at OC's Howard Street store. The tiger print that Solange wore also features in the Spring/Summer 2013 collection in stores now—on sheer blouses, mini skirts, and one flawless floor-length dress. The print is a nod to Kenzo Takada's original Jungle Jap store in Paris and to the brand's tiger logo. It's one of two big cat references this season. The other being snow leopard spots. This print! I want to paper and carpet my entire apartment in it. Or, more seriously, buy a matching pants-and-jacket combo. OC's Carol and Humberto, Kenzo's creative directors, were inspired by a vacation spent in the jungles of Thailand. The resulting spots recur on belted off-the-shoulder dresses, cargo-pocket mini skirts, and boxy jackets with convertible features that mean business.
