Pae White at South London Gallery

Los Angeles-based artist Pae White recently opened Too Much Night, Again at Peckham's South London Gallery. Pae's work often uses fragile materials to create installations on a large scale—previous exhibitions have included gold-coated popcorn kernels suspended from fine threads and intricate tapestries picturing billowing smoke plumes. Inspired by the artist's recent bouts of insomnia, Too Much Night, Again is made up of over 48 kilometers of yarn that spell out the words Tiger, Time, and Unmattering. It is a thoroughly complex and dimensional piece that appears to change as you walk around the space.

Through May 12th 2013
