Shop Talk: Pamela Love Drops by OCNY

This week one of our favorite local jewelry designers, Pamela Love, stopped by OCNY to talk about her new collection. She also came with a grab bag full of her FNO exclusive jewelry (thanks Pamela!) I asked her a few questions after the visit, which you can read below.

Shannan Smith: What was your inspiration for this collection?
Pamela Love: I was inspired by the history of secret societies like the Illuminati and the Free Masons. From there, I wanted to explore the idea of secrets between friends, like secret handshakes and secret codes. In the collection, you’ll see a lot of the imagery from these societies as well as hidden secret details in a few of the pieces.

Did you experiment with any new processes or materials for this collection?
We worked with a lot more gold than I have in the past.
