Fashion month came and went in February, but there's a different kind of fashion show currently on our radar. This Friday, our friends and neighbors at the Museum of Chinese in America are throwing open the doors to two very special fashion exhibitions, Front Row: Chinese American Designers and Shanghai Glamour: New Women 1910s-40s.

The first celebrates contemporary designers of Chinese descent, among them: Derek Lam, Phillip Lim, Anna Sui, Vera Wang, Jason Wu, and––drumroll please... Opening Ceremony's own half-Chinese (and half-Peruvian) HumbeRto Leon! Curated by designer Mary Ping––one of the very first designers we ever stocked at OC––the show has a particularly dear place in our heart. Pop in the next time you make the trip downtown to OCNY! And double the fun by taking in the show's sister exhibition of exquisite Shanghai fashions from the early 20th century.

Through September 29, 2013
