Christopher Shannon Mixes It up for Spring

Christopher Shannon is a mix master. That goes for his clothing and for his musical compilations, which delight us both at his shows and right here on the blog. Christopher's spring collection has a little of something from everywhere. His denim jacket, for example, is plastered with embroidered patches shaped like palm trees, flamingos, and little planet Earths. And, in a similar vein, shorts and sweatshirts are patchworked with a rainbow of different fabrics, from chambray to nylon. Kidda!, Christopher's jersey diffusion line also goes global this season, reworking a print from the brand's archives of striped, waving flags.
