Last night I headed over to Art Los Angeles Contemporary, the international art fair of the West Coast. There was so much to take in, it was quite overwhelming, but my handy map guided me as did familiar faces Kathy Grayson of The Hole and Javier Peres (with whom I had a QUICK CHAT) of Peres Projects. Other booths that caught my eye included The Standard (Oslo) from Norway and LA galleries International Art Objects Galleries, Night Gallery, 1301PE, Acme, and Ace! A final word of advice: pace yourself and if you’re feeling woozy, head to the lounge for a coffee pick-me-up.
