In the bustle before London Collections: Men, we dispatched cameras to a handful of OC designers. The aim: to see how many snacks, coffee runs, and late-night pizzas go into making a collection. So now that we've seen what came down the catwalks, it's time to take a peek behind the scenes!

Gillian Tozer: Hello Christopher! Gaffer-taped jeans, glossy nylon jackets, and cartoon motif knits—the Fall/Winter collection is a hoot! So tell me, do you and the team have any pre-show traditions?
Christopher Shannon: Well, we used to get out at about 6pm the night before and crack open the prosecco but those days have past. Now, the aim is to get as much sleep as possible the night before. There's always a rush to get things like the press release and show music done. There's no time for traditions.

GT: Pick an adjective and fill in the blank: This collection turned out much more/less ___________ than I had anticipated.
CS: Much less moody.

GT: Do you have a favorite piece from the collection?
CS: I really love the leather shirts: they're so simple and incredibly well made. I didn't style them with much as I wanted them to be seen as they are. I also think the knit is really ace. The zip sleeve shirts undone also add a nice touch to the men's silhouette. I'm so happy we improved the quality and finish of everything this season.

GT: How did you and the team celebrate after the show?
CS: I tried to get out of drinking after the show and go for a quiet dinner but that didn't happen. I think we left the studio at about 3am after far too much prosecco and Nicki Minaj. It was fun but I won't be doing that for another six months, at least.

"Kickers arriving at my studio in Islington. The wooden floors are a nice step up from the cold concrete floors of my old studio."

"My desk. On the wall is a very rough line upI hate to stick to anything too much, I prefer to get all the pieces made and see what happens."
"This is one of our favorite models Ben Horsfield coming in for a casting. He'd just found out he's going to be a father!"

"Getting the looks in order on the rail."

"There's Ben again"

"That's Patrick in hair and makeup. He's one of the few models who didn't have a weave glued to his head."

"This is one of my interns backstage, looking tense!"

"Jervan lets his weave set hard"
