Our favorite contemporary designers and their influences are no exception. "Our friend Andreas could be described as a muse but really everyone who identifies with our world and wears our clothes is a 'muse.' We are fortunate to be surrounded by a lot of inspiring people but we are far more interested in dressing those on the street, people who have empathy with what we do. The people we're most inspired by are those we've never met. At a time when everyone is bombarded with choices and transient information, we believe that the creation of a community is more nourishing. Komakino is never about one but about all."
