The photography group show Attachments, curated by Kathy Grayson and Tim Barber, opened at The Hole last Saturday. The show features nine photographers who explore the medium using their own contemporary technique. Among them, we have Photoshop (Asger Carlsen, Andrew Kuo, Kate Staciw), found Internet images superimposed over one another (Peter Sutherland), a Tumblr photo diary (Sandy Kim), and digital photography (Tim Barber, Jason Nocito). Could the resulting images suggest that photography nowadays has become unreal, evanescent, and virtual. Decide for yourself before the exhibition closes on November 3rd.
