This is the final boarding call for Beyond Closet, flight SS13, departing now! For his Spring/Summer collection, Seoul-based designer Tae Young will be taking us on a summer vacation where days are to be spent on shiny white boats and nights at the marina, sipping the sweetest mimosas Euros can buy. Multicolor parkas, matching tweed blazer and short combos, sailor stripes, and neckerchiefs galore made for a playful collection. Accessories like brogues and weekend bags were also key to the looks. Backstage, fresh-faced and cherry-lipped boys darted around in between walks—all with great big smiles on their dials. A feel-good show for a feel-good collection.
