It was the final showdown on Friday night as the top 10 contestants from the NY World K-Pop Festival competed to win the grand prize: round trip tickets to South Korea and the opportunity to perform at the largest K-Pop contest in Korea. (Just to give you an insight into the popularity of the World K-Pop Festival, over 10,000 people attended last year.) Selected from thousands of K-Pop hopefuls, the finalists came from all over the States, armed with synchronized dance moves, complementing outfits, and a pretty good grasp of the Korean language. So who won? A Miss Nicole Mastrodomenico, for her acoustic version "Replay" by SHINee. Brayden and I got up close and personal with the performers and their throngs of fans.
