Why it's so great: After reading ALEX'S INTERVIEW WITH LEONARD KOREN last week, I had to learn more about WET—a curious, defunct magazine that seemed to dedicate its pages to the sole act of bathing. But Making WET is about hygiene and so much more. The book, a reflection on the magazine, studies where you go when you bathe, who you are when you step into the bath, and who you become when you step out. A lot of thinking happens in the bath, at least for me, and Koren materializes this thought activity with interviews, photographs, artwork, and reviews from a plethora of contributors.
