To celebrate the anniversary of the company, OC is planning some exciting commemorations, including an ANNIVERSARY BOOK with Rizzoli to be published on September 4th. In lead up to the event, we will be sharing memories and stories from friends of OC.
"Carol and Humberto were the first people Erin and I showed SUNO to. I called them to see if they would have 15 minutes to look at our first samples. Erin and I brought the 22-piece collection to OC to give a little presentation while our friend, Gillian, modeled each look. Afterwards, Carol and Humberto just sat there—a little dumbfounded. Carol, having known me for years, was rightfully skeptical. They had probably prepared themselves for the emotional equivalent of a poetry reading their dentist had invited them to. Carol gingerly got up and began pointing out a few pieces that she liked. It was a little nerve-wracking. And then Humberto bolted up and said that they would like to carry the whole line and that we better go make it to ensure we deliver it on time.
