Just Eat It: Walter's

I struggle with brunch. I can’t help but feel like a complete jerk whenever I “do” it. But Walter's in Fort Greene doesn’t feel like most Brooklyn brunch eateries. Sitting just opposite the park, the charming restaurant has no frosted mirrors, “antique” light globes, or smarmy servers. In their place, you'll find indoor plants, lots of natural light, a raw bar, and plenty of liquor. My friend and I ordered the huevos rancheros, smoked trout and egg scramble, and key lime pie—all washed down with Aperol spritzers and Bloody Marys galore. Such a jerk, I know!
