Infinite Loop: Agathe Snow at Maccarone

As indicated in the name of her new Maccarone Gallery show I like it here. Don't you?, the artist Agathe Snow (Dash's former wife) has found an appealing place, embodied in her floor-to-ceiling mobiles of papier-mâché, fiberglass, and all sorts of miscellaneous objects. The scenes depicted in each structure are apexes of different narratives, hanging as if the height of the action had been frozen in time and set on loop, like something of a sculptural .gif. It's on this arc that the artist reposes with her spindly works that twist garden hose, egg shells, netting, kites, and even a live fish into sculptures that eschew the precious and embrace wit, decay, and childsplay.
