Delfina Delettrez’s Ethereal Baubles

If there’s one person out there who’s not afraid to get surreal, it’s Delfina Delettrez. Since starting her line in 2007, the Italian-born jewelry maker (and member of the Fendi family) has become the person to look to for bright, unexpected baubles. The love for Delfina’s sparkly—and often anatomical—pieces even extends to the Louvre’s Musée des Arts Decoratifs, where she is the youngest designer to be included in the museum’s permanent collection of fine jewelry.

This season, Delfina’s signature eyes and lips go a step more sci-fi, with wrap-around rings that give the illusion of floating jewels, earrings made of dark, space-like stones, and chain bracelets that extend to wrap around your middle finger. The result is a collection that is as delightfully bizarre as you could expect—all while being more mature and luxe than ever.
