OCTV Presents: "Behind-the-Scenes of Opening Ceremony NYFW Part 1," presented by Lexus, produced by C7E, and directed by Jenner Furst

Aside from the numerous "oohs" and "ahhs" that usually erupt amidst the glitzy clothes and A-list guests at an Opening Ceremony Fashion Week show, the next response from guests is generally a unanimous, "How the hell did they do that?!"

For the past three Fashion Week seasons, OC founders Carol Lim and Humberto Leon have upped the runway culture ante with their extravagant shows that are just as inventive and elaborate as the clothing on display.

"We're not trying to top ourselves, we're trying to tell a story—going beyond is in the ethos of our company," says Leon. You can say that again.

For the Spring/Summer 14 runway show, male and female models arrived in the gnarliest of whips while the Fall/Winter 2014 show developed into a Wonka-esque wonderland with a background wall of dripping Belgian chocolate. These off-the-wall fashion antics and unexpected runway surprises beg the question, "What's next?"

For their  Fall/Winter 2015 collection, Lim and Leon looked to their pal Spike Jonze for inspiration, pulling from his photo archive of skateboard and BMX subcultures. After putting together last season's show-stopping one act play with Jonze and Jonah Hill at the Metropolitan Opera House, we can't wait to see what Lim and Leon have up their sleeves this season.

Check out Part 1 of the video interview above and make sure to stay tuned for Part 2, debuting on February 17
