This season, designer Gosha Rubchinskiy continues his streetwear winning streak and owns his title as the King of the rebellious Russian youth.
From '90s-era skater boys, to the underground sub-cultures, to the Russian club kid scene, the Moscow-based designer found their common ground with a sportive collection of Text Printed Sweatpants, Raglan Tees, and skeleton long-boarders— all enough to make any Hypebeast boy bow down.
The Spring/Summer ’15 collection is also full of inside quirks: the Shoelace Belt, the alien motif (a friend’s interpretation of a Russian myth), and of course, the cyrillic logos. But all together, the sun-embroidered Baseball Caps and thick Canvas Pants done in blazing primary colors prove that nothing gets lost in translation.
You might not be a defiant teen channeling the fashion Gods, but with this collection, you can at least feel like it.
