Call us crazy but Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa... it seems like those holidays get all the hype, and New Year's Eve becomes an afterthought. Why is it that December 31 always takes a backseat to its precursors, and then we just wind up with the canned response: "My New Year's was sh*tty—how was yours?" Here at OC, we're pretty good at attending a social event or two.
