A 'New Vision Of Darkness' From A Russian Fashion Model

Is it strange that a designer inspired by Black Metal would produce a lookbook as bright and minimal as Anton Lisin's? "I made simple pictures [so] the emphasis was on the prints," the Moscow-based designer explained. "The clothes carry the message." Available exclusively at OC in the US, the fashion model's first line of T-shirts comes printed with occult figures like Baphomet, the goat-headed pagan idol, religious icons, and pentagrams. In the designer's words, it's "a new vision of darkness." The lookbook, meanwhile, shot by Sonya Kydeeva especially for OC, is the opposite of dark—featuring pale, androgynous models in poses that resemble the praying Madonnas on their shirts.
