This week, The Look takes on a new and special form on Know-Wave. Although Know-Wave has become a very New York entity, it was conceived in Los Angeles by the “never-not-working” Aaron Bondaroff and OHWOW gallery. Know-Wave uses the lawless format of pirate radio to provide a platform for artists, musicians, performers, and all-around personalities to do literally whatever they want. Rather than selecting individuals to showcase like a gallery does, Bondaroff’s goal is to serve the downtown community and administer a space that brings together many pockets of creativity without a preset form.
