As a child, nothing failed to simultaneously captivate and terrify me quite like board games. I'm not talking about some weak-ass Chutes and Ladders or Candy Land. I'm talking about the board game-turned-movie phenomenon that struck paralyzing fear deep in the hearts of every other 4-year-old in America: Jumanji.
One of OC pal Kirsten Dunst's first forays into film back in 1995, Jumanji is the story of a board game that brings the animals of the jungle to life with every move. As does the new crop of animal-themed fashion at OC. Some of it––like the roaring Kenzo tiger sweater or Jennifer Behr spider ponywrap––would make you scream as loud as Robin Williams trapped inside of a 26-year-long rhino stampede if they were real. Others, say Ostwald Helgason's monkey sweatshirt or Pamela Love's snake in the grass bracelet, make wild beasts look almost as docile as our favorite cuddly animal videos on YouTube.
As a tribute to the now 19-year-old film, we rounded up our favorite fauna from recent collections. As great as they are on-screen, it's even better to have a beast on your chest, mug, or sleeve. Whatever your spirit animal, you'll find something in our menagerie.

This Ostwald Helgason Monkey Loopback Crewneck Sweatshirt draws inspiration from Fernand Léger's cubist paintings in mixing monkeys with modernist shapes. Sort of like if The Wizard of Oz's flying misfits took a trip to the Museum of Modern Art.
