Expecting the usual pattern-heavy, mix-and-match collection that Rachel Comey usually wins with, I was pleasantly surprised to see her score with a much more understated, modern, and directional collection this time around. Making clever use of clear PVC, she created straps to hold up an otherwise classic black dress and belts over chunky knits––genius! (I'm totally stealing this styling trick.) The addition of a sleek sneaker to her ever-popular footwear collection was also a hit in my eyes. But the best thing about the show? Seeing it all backstage. Check it all out here!
