A Constellation of Pillows: GALA Fall/Winter 2013

When these galactic cushions from Japanese brand GALA arrived, we were over the moon. GALA is the furniture-focused project of graphic designer/art director YOSHIROTTEN, whose eerie works have graced CD jackets and gallery walls alike. The designer's first foray into home décor, the "ROOMREALISM" series, featured giant lipsticks, golden crosses, and a bedspread of stained-glass windows. As a continuation of the series, YOSHIROTTEN created his own "Planet Gala": giant pillows covered in hyper-colorful landscapes and dreamy constellations that make you feel like you're floating amongst the planets in space. Cuddle up to a lightning strike or gift your best friend a soft version of Jupiter's likeness to make this holiday season out of this world! (I know you were wondering when that pun would be made.)
