Don't cry for me, Argentina, I've got Tsumori Chisato's Buenos Aires-inspired Fall collection. The designer, whose imagination is always sparked by one form of art or another, drew inspiration from the beautiful South American city this season. The city's brightly colored buildings are referenced in the collection's color scheme, and the prints look like Argentinian textiles. If you look closely, you can see that the patterns almost appear drawn on—that's because Tsumori creates all her own prints! Using a variety of mediums, the designer drew each print for the collection by hand and transferred it onto fabric. The casual but pretty draping of the clothing looks put-together but not stiff; totally perfect for a vacation under the Argentine sun. Tsumori has said that the goal behind her collections is always to make women feel happy and comfortable while wearing her designs, and with flowy, feminine garments in vivid colors and interesting prints, she's no doubt reached that goal many times over.
