With so many fresh items popping up each day, OC's fashion editor, Alice, brings you her favorites in "THIS JUST IN."

I love polo dresses. What other piece of clothing could look like something from a Lands' End catalog and like something from Ghost World at the same time? Wearing one, you could be on both the chess team and the tennis team. Somehow a dorky outsider element has taken over this classic jockette piece and it's great—revenge of the nerds! Opening Ceremony's jacquard version stays true to the polo dress' DNA (it's best worn with the collar buttoned all the way up) but the metallic pattern and body-hugging stretch knit make it less Enid Coleslaw and more Margot Tenenbaum smoking in the bathroom in too much eyeliner. This week, we took it for a test drive with a mini daisy-print backpack from adidas Originals x OC and a pair of tomato-red Acne Studios Mary Janes.
