A few weeks ago, OC online's Philip told me that if I were a designer collection, I would be Rachel Comey Fall/Winter '11. This wasn't an obvious connection for me, but when I sat down to do some recon and I saw the diamond-print pants and knits the designer sent out for fall, I was more than convinced.
Beyond her amazing patterns, I think the point is that Rachel Comey creates pieces that you can instantly see yourself wearing. High-waisted skirts and cropped sweaters go together almost without thinking, and I challenge, yep challenge, you to find an outfit the wooden-heeled boots wouldn't work with.
