Coffee Chronicles: Little Fox Cafe

I popped by this rustic little spot on Kenmare Street (that's right, I can't get enough) for a belated brekkie yesterday as soon as I realized that my productivity for the day would be non-existent without some caffeine. Little Fox has all the fixings of a cozy coffee spot: exposed wooden beams; flea market gold like vintage oil lamps, wooden crates, and oil paintings; and all the Wi-Fi you need to meticulously craft your OK-C profile (does anyone call it that?). In terms of edibles, pastries are sourced from local bakeries Pinaud and Ceci-Cela, and the menu of sandwiches and salads is diverse without being overwhelming. Plus, there's beer on tap for the afternoon hours––unless you're an early starter. In which case, cheers.

As it turns out, foam artist Michael Breach (aka Baristart) was in yesterday. On a typical day, Michael holds down the fort at the Milk Studios coffee counter, but every Wednesday morning from 9-1pm, you can find him right here at Little Fox. Michael was awesome and agreed to create an OC-logoed latte before deciding to experiment with a Bieber, to which it only felt appropriate to add a jay. From the looks of the offerings, the atmosphere, and the warm staff, it looks like we've found a new hangout since our neighborhood favorite, Bluebird Sky, shuttered last year (RIP).
