Polka-Dot Party: Mark McNairy New Amsterdam SS13

There is nothing that can't be assimilated into Mark McNairy's vocabulary. Think seersucker's too preppy? Stick some daisies on it. Think plaid shirts are boring? Make it three plaids in one shirt. And then stick some daisies on it. For Spring/Summer 2013 the designer showed on schedule at New York Fashion Week for the first time. And rapper Danny Brown (left) wrapped up the show in a gold lamé suit. It was a perfect tribute to the collection's #IDGAF approach. In the world of Mark "McNasty" McNairy, if you're wearing a polka-dot shirt, you should wear polka-dot shorts too. And if you're wearing chino, make it quilted, or camo, or jungle print. This collection is about prints that go big or go home.
