Popsicle sticks stuck to a card that will leave glitter all over the house for the next two months is no longer an acceptable Mother's Day gift. It's time to mom up and get your #1 something fantastic for Mother's Day. Cue our gift guide! For the next week, we'll be checking in with some of our favorite moms and their kids. Next up, OC alum and DJ Lindsey caldwell shares her favorite mommy moments.

How did you spend your first Mother's Day?
I slept in late, went for a drive with my husband to check out some towns out east, and then had a spa treatment. It was perfect!

Which items from your wardrobe will you be passing onto Henry?
Lots of old T-shirts (Portishead, Rick James, Pee-wee's Playhouse, and Cross Colours etc). I have some girly stuff too should he decide he wants to wear those!

How do you dress him?
Right now, he's into crawling in the dirt (he also eats a little here and there) so I don't spend a lot of money on his clothes. I love Zara, Gap, and Diesel.

What is your favorite thing to cook Henry?
He has no patience when he's hungry, so whatever I can get into his tray the quickest! He really likes sautéed vegetables with lots of garlic. Otherwise, he just wants fruit—especially bananas (he calls them na na).

Favorite things to do together?
Now that he is walking and the weather is nice, we stay outside almost all day. We are touring the playgrounds of Brooklyn. So far, our favorite is at Brooklyn Bridge Park. We recently went to the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens for the first time. Henry loved the the turtles and fish in the Japanese pond.

Favorite fictional mom?
Easy! Clair Huxtable from The Cosby Show. She's such a cool mom, but is still tough when she has to be.

What are you hoping to receive for Mother's Day?
I want to sleep in and then spend the day with my boys. And I want something new—I'm transitioning to my natural hair texture (no more heat styling), so I need scarves for the many bad hair days to come. This Kenzo pitti uomo kenzo tissue scarf is amazing! I'm so excited to wear dresses again, without buttons now that I'm no longer breast-feeding. This Opening Ceremony plunge neck dress is perfect! I've always wanted a Rodarte rohearte heart hoodie, but I would never buy it for myself; I would feel too guilty not spending the money on Henry.
